Good afternoon everybody! Today we’re featuring a non-profit organization called We Connect Now.
We Connect Now is a website made by Gabriela McCall Delgado to help college-aged adults with disabilities access secondary education opportunities and employment. Gabriela created the website while a college student herself, and it has grown to link with 10 foreign countries and has chapters across the United States. We Connect Now allows students with disabilities to share their stories and connect with each other. It also provides links with resources to loans, scholarships, and information about new laws that effect college students with disabilities. The site has both English and Spanish text.
