Show us your BLUE!

All Care Therapies of Georgetown is proud to celebrate Autism Awareness Month! Help us spread awareness, promote acceptance, and ignite change!

Did you know that the Centers for Disease Control estimates that autism affects 1 in 54 children in the United States today? Autism is a spectrum disorder, and each child with autism has a unique set of challenges and strengths that affects the way they learn, problem solve and complete activities of daily living. The diagnosis is characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and nonverbal communication. These children often have sensory sensitivities with mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression and attention issues.

We hope you’ll join as we work towards increasing understanding and acceptance for the millions of families facing the challenges of autism.

Here is our challenge for you: Paint or draw something BLUE! Show us your creativity! Submit photos of your art to All Care Therapies of Georgetown by Facebook, Instagram, email or snail mail so we can show off your talent! Entries will be shared over social media, and the child with the most votes will win a free pizza delivery to their home! We would like your entries by Friday, April 24th. Voting will close on April 30th.
